I turned my back on it all and became a bohemian

I get squirrely if I'm not allowed to be creative. I'm unabashedly geektacular. I don't always know where I'm going in life, but I'm pretty self reliant in getting there. I'm a fanatic for Warren Ellis, Frank Miller, William Gibson, and Dan Brerton. Sometimes I think I should be a little more Spider Jerusalem, but only on bad days. I believe that any experience you learn something from is a positive one. I've never been in a relationship that I didn't learn something from. I can count most of my exes as close friends (but NOT "special" friends :p) I usually make it to at least one concert every month (Robyn Hitchcock was the last one, so I'm overdue). I'm a beer snob who also makes his own mead. Children scare me. People who put pictures of their children on dating sites doubly so. Especially when they're not in the pictures with their children. I believe in ghosts and spirits and gods old and new. Being able to spell when you write earns you a cookie. Two if it's more than "Hi, how are you today." I have a book problem (as in more of them than there are shelves). For a one time film student, I have embarrassingly few movies on my shelves (I have to really be able to rewatch something to own it). The ones that are there are usually cult classics (The Beyond, Buckaroo Banzai, Repo! The Genetic Opera, etc...) Parentheticals are my favorite (followed closely by ellipses...) I own a most classy retro tuxedo, and one time I made my own straitjacket. I don't believe in not learning. Like all the time. There are lists of things I still want to pick up. Really.
