Dark Broody Geek God

First off, I consider myself a geek by birth - I was named after Captain James Tiberius Kirk, of Star Trek fame, by my dad (who was a huge fan of the original). That said, most people have told me I don't generally look like a geek, as I'm 6ft 4 inches tall, have a relatively big build (beefy, not fat), weighing in at around 235lbs, and look more like a biker/thug type (so I've been told), then a geek, and have quite visible tattoos that, admittedly, I'm not the least bit ashamed of. Most people say I grant one of those "wouldn't want to meet in a dark alleyway" kinda first impressions, until they get to know me and find out I'm pretty much just a laid back geeky type, save placed in a big "scary" body. I have three kids (one son - age sixteen, two beautiful daughters - ages fourteen and nine/almost ten) who are my world. Unlike many seemingly horrific dads in these parts who choose not to be part of their kids lives, I'm very much a part of my own. That being said, there's a big part of me that refuses to "grow up", as if growing up means falling into apathy and losing sight of the dreams You once held when younger, I want no part of such lunacy. I am self employed, owning and operating two interactive theater venues which, in a sense, makes me a professional geek of sorts. "What is an interactive theater venu, You ask? Basically take the Ren Faire, add to it medivial combat reenactment, and throw in improvisational, non-scripted theater to the mix, and You have an idea of what we do. I love comicbooks, and own a healthy little collection of such. Of course, because of such forementioned love, I'm a pretty big fan of comicbook influenced/inspired movies. I'm a horror movie fanatic, loving zombie flicks more so then any other type within the genre, and devour (< pun intended) every one I can get my hands on. I'm also a huge fan of science fiction and fantasy, whether in cinematic or literary form, and have quite a library of such on the walls of my living room
