A Mac in a Windows World

Oh, what can I say about myself. I'm a the director of a small-town library now, was in journalism for 16 years, love cats, dogs, movies, music, yadda, yadda, yadda. I'm not trying to come off as being flippant here. That's not my intention at all. It's just coming up with a laundry list of things I've done, things I enjoy and things I'd like to do comes across as mundane. Those are things I enjoy, they aren't me. So, who am I? I'm an ape descended, carbon-based life form who still thinks digital watches are a good idea. I'm a guy who doesn't care too much for sports (maybe college football and the New Orleans Saints) and actually enjoys going to Bed, Bath & Beyond and will pretty much be willing to go into any store IF you agree to go to Best Buy, Circuit City or any similar store full of neat electronic gadgets I absolutely don't need. I'm the guy who stops to get turtles safely across the highway. I'm a sucker for animals and like my dogs better than I like most people. I try to exercise, I don't even pretend that I eat an overly healthy diet. I need to lose some weight and I really need to keep my glasses somewhere I can find them more easily. The CDs in my car include the new Neil Young Album, The Cure, Madness, Willie Nelson and George Benson. I buy fresh milk when I'm at the store and forget to drink it. I watch The Science Channel, Comedy Central, the Sci-Fi Channel and The Cartoon Network when I watch TV. I never get rid of a computer. Or a book. I've been through two tornadoes, been shot at twice, drank a beer with Bo Diddley and gotten in a fist-fight with the son of a very powerful Washington politician (not proud of it, but it's one of those things that happens when you're in college, have drank too much and someone is being a jerk.) Is that enough? Is anyone still reading? If so, Bravo! If not, I guess it really doesn't matter what else I put down.
