Biosomniac Blues

I'm a University student on the Gold Coast, Australia. Science is my primary passion, and I have a particular knack (and passion) for Biology, Palaeontology and Ecology. I can ramble about dinosaurs for hours on end, and get a little excitable when reading about any kind of prehistoric biology. My other interests include constantly hunting for new music to listen to, cycling, practising my drawing skills and getting dragged into video/board games with my friends and housemates. I've got a pretty well rounded grasp of 'nerd' culture- films, books, games, comics, TV, etc. I love reading and writing, even if it's just a conversation over IM, and am always willing to listen to someone when they need advice, or just to vent about what's on their mind. When it comes to romance, I love the unusual. I'd like to find someone as comfortable with a passionate rivalry as with intimate, lazy sunday mornings in bed, who has their own interests that they love to ramble about as much as I do mine. Being able to have conversations that ebb and flow for hours, or to communicate all you need to by body language and eye contact alone. I can be a little silly and self-conscious sometimes, especially in those awkward first meetings, but once I know what someone likes I'm relaxed, open and good-humoured.
