Calling Myrtle Beach nerdettes!

I'm a 28 year old with certified nerd credentials, currently wallowing in the extremely un-nerdy rural suburbs of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Not particularly looking for "the one" or even Neo (swidt?), as I simply haven't looked that far ahead yet. If something like that develops, great! Right now, I'm just more concerned with meeting someone cool and getting along with them swimmingly, swimming optional of course. I like doing incredibly uncool things like marveling at the complexity and enormity of the universe and debating the pros and cons of silent protagonists in JRPGs. I play a mean game of chess. On the cooler (by cool people who aren't nerds standards, anyway) I do like sports (particularly baseball, football, and hockey) and will attempt to partake in watching or participating when I can. I don't particularly like television or movies but will watch them on occasion. Adult Swim is good people. I do read, but mostly fantasy trash. I've been meaning to pick up a copy of A Brief History of Time forEVER. I go to Mellow Mushroom for pizza every Friday night after work with my roommate . This constitutes "going out" for me. Last year I begun was finally became a successful battle against the bulge: 262 lbs down to 213 and still making headway. I am looking forward very much to people occasionally finding my physical form as mildly attractive as my brain sometimes is endearing. I don't really care if that sounds a little shallow. Anyway, I'm pretty easy to talk to for both nerds and un-nerds alike. I guess I'm an equal opportunist. If you feel like talking and you're in the area, cool, fire away.
