A Watcher in the Woods
Basically I live with two large dogs in a sort of barn over a woodshop where I build acoustic guitars; it's a place more suited to artists than socialites. I have worked in arctic Alaska in winter and the Salt Lake Desert in summer, and traveled through all the United States except Hawaii, as well as a little of Canada and Mexico, and some of Western Europe. I'm the country boy who went to Harvard (figuratively), knowledgable of both but not really fitting into either; but, as Mark Twain said, I never let my schooling interfere with my education. I touched the Blarney Stone but didn't kiss it, so I can write well but words still don't roll off my tongue. I write a mixed bag of poetry and am currently writing my first novel, a horror/adventure story. Favorite authors: Robert Anson Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Anne Rice - not the latest, but some of the greatest. I would like to find unassuming friends (or more) with broad interests and kind hearts (although the devil might play around in their head a bit :).
